Our spring concert will be held at the Newnan High School auditorium on Thursday, May 10th. Details are listed below:
Our annual chorus composite photos will be taken during chorus class on Tuesday, March 27th. Students will need to bring their uniforms to school and change into them for pictures.

Students who purchased tickets to the Atlanta Hawks game will need to wear black chorus shirts, black pants, and black shoes (no hard heels) on Thursday, March 15th. Each student will need $10 to eat dinner at The Varsity before the game. Parents who are going to the game are welcome to join us at The Varsity. Parents may sign students out at Philips Arena.
Schedule for 3/15/18
We will have our sponsored donation Sing Along next Thursday, March 8th, from 6:30-11:30 pm. Students will be out of school on Friday, March 9th for a Teacher Work Day.
On Monday, March 19th, the choruses will travel to Fayetteville for their annual judged performance. We need 6 adults to serve as chaperones for that day. We will leave Smokey Road at 8:30am and return by 2:0pm. Chaperones help monitor students during bathroom breaks, transitions from the bus to the building, and the lunch break.

This sponsored donation fundraising activity will help with chorus expenses for the Spring concert and individual student expenses next year. The minimum amount needed to participate is $50. Below is our tentative schedule:

**Students who stay for the Relay for Life Dance (4-6pm) may come directly to the chorus room when the dance concludes.

SRMS Christmas Concert - Chorus
Our Christmas concert will take place on Tuesday, December 5th at the Newnan High School Auditorium. The concert will begin at 7:00 pm.
Students need to be seated in the auditorium by 6:30 pm.
The formal uniform for the program is as follows:
All 6th graders will wear black chorus polo shirt, black pants (NOT leggings), black shoes
All 7th and 8th graders will wear formal attire. Bow ties and pearls will be given out at the concert.
Chorus performances are graded. They serve as post-tests for our class.

Monday, Sept. 25 - Home volleyball game - 7th grade chorus students to sing National Anthem. Additional spirit wear orders will be taken until Thursday of this week! If you want to order additional shirts, please send in forms and payment by that date.
Tuesday, Sept. 26 - Rehearsal from 3:30-5:00 with CEC 8th grade singers. (Veterans' Day music)

Friday, Sept. 29 - Men's Vocal Festival at Newnan High (9:00 am - 7:00 pm) Concert begins at 6:00 pm and is free to the public. 8 members of the SRMS chorus will participate!
Fundraisers items will be delivered on Monday, October 2nd! The Candy Man will also have prizes for all participants that day! Thank you for your support!
